Mezinárodní kolotoč turnajů odstartoval ve španělském Durango další ze série turnajů pod taktovkou organizátora Egoitz Campo. První turnaj sezóny 2026 si nejen sám uspořádal, ale navíc v něm bez ztráty bodu zvítězil. Druhé místo obsadil Joseba Zubiaurre. Bronz bere Mikel Torde.
Nejlepší ženou tohoto baskického klání byla na šestém místě Arrate Elorrieta. Předpoklad, že by ve Španělsku mohlo být teplo je mylný – turnaj odehráli účastnici v bundách, ale ani to je neodradilo turnaj odehrát.
V plánovaných turnajích se do mezinárodního žebříčku započítá tradičně i Orel Cup v brněnských Bohunicích. Do mezinárodního kalendáře si svůj turnaj zatím nenahlásily Dragons Modřice. Předběžně je z tradičních turnajů již v kalendáři prázdninové Švédsko.
Mimo hlavní akce roku 2026 – tedy květnového mistrovství Evropy na Slovensku přislíbila slovenská strana i více turnajů právě v Ilavě – termíny zatím nejsou známy.

The international tournament circuit kicked off in the Spanish town of Durango with another event in the series organized by Egoitz Campo. He not only hosted the first tournament of the 2026 season himself, but also won it without dropping a single point. Second place went to Joseba Zubiaurre, while Mikel Torde claimed the bronze medal.
The best woman of this Basque event was Arrate Elorrieta, who finished in sixth place. Any assumption that it would be warm in Spain proved to be wrong – the players competed wearing jackets, but that did not discourage them from playing the tournament.
Among the planned events, the traditional Orel Cup in Bohunice (Brno) will once again count towards the international rankings. So far, Dragons Modřice have not yet registered their tournament in the international calendar. From the traditional events, the holiday tournament in Sweden is already listed in the calendar.
In addition to the main event of the 2026 season – the European Championship in Slovakia in May – the Slovak side has also promised several additional tournaments in Slovakia, although the dates have not yet been announced.
